Kaipan 47 is a sport cabriolet. Its design was taken from today already historical LOTUS SEVEN. Alike Lotus Seven his conception is based on a steel space frame made of square and round tubes. The floor AL sheets and inside sheets are glued on and riveted. The bodywork is made of composite material (GRB body). The front triangular arms are suspended, the rear axle is rigid. The car has front disk brakes and rear shoe brakes. The engine and gearbox come from Ford Sierra. Kaipan 47 was produced from 1992 to 2001 and 50 cars were manufactured.
